About JokeBlitz

Ideas in. A joke out.

JokeBlitz is a small, single-purpose tool: you give it a handful of ideas, it gives you back one short joke that uses all of them — ready to tell out loud.

What happens when you press “Generate”

  1. You type a few ideas — people, places, objects or a situation — and, if you like, pick a style: pun, one-liner, dad joke or absurd.
  2. The page sends them to 9orb’s server-side AI endpoint. The page itself never holds an API key: the key and the model live on 9orb’s server. Each click carries its own request id, so pressing “Try again” after a hiccup never counts twice.
  3. The model writes exactly one joke — a short setup and a punchline that brings in every idea you typed, in the language you wrote in.
  4. The joke lands on stage. The setup appears first, a beat later the punchline, then a little confetti. Rate it with the laugh meter, copy it, or make another.

What the model is asked to avoid

  • Hate, harassment and sexual content.
  • Jokes aimed at real, named people.
  • Lists, options or explanations — you get one joke, ready to tell.

It is still AI: now and then a joke will not land. That is what the “Make another” button is for.

Is there a limit?

Yes. The site has a daily allowance of generated jokes. When it is used up, the joke machine shows a friendly message instead of a joke — please come back later. If many people press the button at once, you may be asked to wait a minute.

What is stored?

“Your recent jokes” and your laugh-meter ratings — the last five — are saved only in your own browser, and the “Clear” button removes them. The same goes for your accessibility-menu choices.

How 9orb built this demo

Version 1 — free, 2 min 18 s. The first version was generated by 9orb from the one-line brief I want to build a joke generator: pages, copy, the working generator and its connection to the AI endpoint.

This version — premium. It adds 9orb’s premium upgrades — a custom banner (the neon comedy-club stage), a custom logo (the laughing speech bubble) and the accessibility pack (the menu in the bottom corner and the accessibility statement) — plus design work by the 9orb team: the animated stage, style chips, laugh meter and sticky-note ideas.

JokeBlitz is a demo product: there is no company behind it and no sign-up. All images on this site — banner, logo and mascot — are AI-generated.
