JokeBlitz

Accessibility statement

JokeBlitz wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. It is built to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 level AA and the Israeli standard IS 5568 as far as possible.

What this site does

  • Semantic structure with headings, landmarks and a “skip to content” link.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives for images and labels on every form field.
  • Sufficient colour contrast and support for the “reduce motion” setting: with it, every animation on the site stops.
  • An accessibility menu (the round button in the bottom corner): larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and paused animations — including the confetti.
  • New jokes are announced to screen readers when they appear, and errors are announced as alerts.

Known limitations

Jokes are written by an AI model, so their wording is not reviewed by a person before you see them. Emoji used as decoration are hidden from screen readers; the laugh-meter buttons have text labels. We keep improving the site.

Contact about accessibility

JokeBlitz is a demo product made with 9orb, so there is no business or support team behind it to contact. If you build your own site with 9orb, its accessibility statement lists your own contact details.
